Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon (don’t ask me how to pronounce it, or any other Icelandic words!) is in south east Iceland, and gets up to 100 m deep and about 2 kilometers long, with the Fjaðrá river flowing through it. Some consider it the most beautiful of places to see in Europe. Located off the Ring Road, not far from the village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, this unparalleled beauty of Europe is relatively easy to get to, and one of the world’s most scenic hikes, where you will encounter massive rocky walls, a beautiful waterfall and breathtaking views. If you can only pick one place to visit in Europe, go here! You won’t regret it! This is definitely one of the most beautiful and best places to visit in Europe!
